Due to city residents\u2019 needs to use public transport on New Year\u2019s Eve and the closure of streets due to the New Year\u2019s concert on Freedom Square, Tallinn\u2019s public transport will undergo schedule changes from 31 December to 1 January.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Hannes Falten, the Service Director of Tallinna Linnatranspordi Aktsiaselts (TLT), buses and trolleybuses passing through Freedom Square in Tallinn will be rerouted due to a concert on 31 December. Additionally, departures on primary public transport routes will be extended until 03:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 21:00 on 31 December to 02:00 on 1 January, traffic will be closed on P\u00e4rnu maantee between Suur-Karja t\u00e4nav and Sakala t\u00e4nav, Estonia puiestee between P\u00e4rnu maantee and Kentmanni t\u00e4nav and Kaarli puiestee between T\u00f5nism\u00e4e t\u00e4nav and P\u00e4rnu maantee. From 21:00 onwards, trolleybuses number 1 and 3 as well as buses number 2, 3, 16, 21, 21B, 23, 24, 35, 40, 41, 41B, 42 and 67 will be rerouted. From 23:00 onwards, traffic will be suspended on tram lines 3, 4 and 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 1 January, public transport lines serving the main routes in the city will operate on an extended schedule until 03:00:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tram line number 2, trolleybus lines number 1 and 3 and bus lines number<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1, 5, 8, 18, 40, 42, 60 and 73 will follow an extended schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tram line number 2 (departing from the Hobujaama stop):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 departing in the Kopli direction \u2013 at 00:40, 01:00, 01:20, 01:40, 02:00, 02:20, 02:40, 03:00<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 departing in the Suur-Paala direction \u2013 at 00:30, 00:50, 01:10, 01:30, 01:50, 02:10, 02:30, 02:50, 03:10<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trolleybus lines number 1 and 3 (departing from the T\u00f5nism\u00e4gi stop):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 \u2013 at 00:45, 01:15, 01:45, 02:15, 02:45<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3 \u2013 at 00:30, 01:00, 01:30, 02:00, 02:30, 03:00<\/p>\n\n\n\n
